The game
Find a home for every cat
Each board is a little logic puzzle. Place one cat in every row, column and coloured region, with no two cats touching, even at a corner. Use X marks to keep track of squares you have ruled out.
Play for free in a modern browser, with no account or download. The guided practice introduces the rules as you play.
Journey
Explore 54 ordered levels, from 4×4 to 7×7, with larger-board variations after the final level.
Daily puzzle
Try a 6×6 board selected for your device’s local calendar date. Board layouts may return on later dates.
Playing & learning
Take it one square at a time
Tap or click once to mark a square with an X; double-tap or double-click to place a cat. You can also use a keyboard: arrow keys move between squares, X marks a square, and C places or removes a cat. The game has undo, cross hints and cat help when you need them.
Our playing guide explains the rules, controls, scoring and solving techniques. It includes an original worked example using the first Journey board, so you can follow each deduction in the game.
The puzzle banks are checked for connected regions and a single solution, including after rotations and reflections.

Pick up where you left off
When browser storage is available, your progress, preferences and remaining cat help are saved in this browser on this device. There is no account or cloud sync, and clearing site data can remove your save. See the privacy policy for details.
